New Markdowns and Black Friday

I come with good news! Womens clothing mark downs at the Rack! Our clearance racks were starting to dwindle after clear the rack a few weeks ago. There have been a ton of sweaters that have been marked down, as well as other items! I have linked a few of my favorite sweaters. And also a few that are such a good deal, I think anyone can rationalize the purchase. Enjoy!

This sweater is so cheap, I don't see why you wouldn't buy it.

Topshop items are few and far between at the Rack. So I was happy to see something on clearance for once!

This sweater would be perfect over a plain black shirt or something burgundy.

I saw this sleeveless sweater one day at work and knew I had to buy it. While it was still warm out, I didn't wear anything under it. But now that it is cold, I've worn it with a plain white long sleeve shirt and my Topshop boyfriend jeans.

This sweater is fairly similar to the one above, but it has a roll neck instead.

Despite this sweater only being available in a size small, I had to share it anyways. I think this sweater is one of those 'staple items' that everyone needs.

I thought this sweater was just really cute and simple to wear.

In case you don't know what 'clear the rack' is, I shall clue you in! This sale happens a few times a year where you get an extra 20% off all clearance items. There was one a few weeks ago where I found some insane deals. There is another clear the rack event happening on Black Friday. All red tagged clearance items will be an extra 30% off. AND the sky blue tags will also be an extra 30% off. This applies to the Rack online as well! If you are looking for Christmas gifts, I would definitely recommend checking it out!

Welcome to Nordie Notes

If you are a regular Nordstrom shopper, you understand what a Nordstrom Note (affectionately known as Nordie Notes) is. When you open up a Nordstrom debit, or credit card, you are able to earn these notes whenever you spend at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, nordstromrack.com or Hautelook.com. And this is where the name of my blog comes from. Are we on the same page now? Cool.

I have worked in both a full-line Nordstrom and the Rack. At full-line, I work on the web team. If you don't know what the web team is (no one ever does),we run around the store filling online orders. I absolutely love this job because it means I know the merchandise in every department. This past year, a Nordstrom Rack store opened in West Des Moines. I now work in the shoes and accessories department there. I can probably tell you how much shoes cost, just by looking at them. 

After three years of being a Nordstrom employee, I know a thing or two about clothes, shoes, and handbags. 

I've created this blog to share my ever-growing knowledge of everything related to Nordstrom.
